The PhD in Religious Studies offers an academic, multidisciplinary, and non-denominational approach to religious phenomena. The program investigates religions as historical, cultural, and social facts, using the tools of history, sociology, anthropology, philosophy, and psychology to analyze their beliefs, rites, texts, and institutions.

Aimed at academics, researchers, and analysts from various fields of the humanities and social sciences, the course promotes a critical understanding of religious diversity and the role of religion in the public sphere, in the formation of identities, and in contemporary conflicts. The objective is to produce an original thesis that advances the field of study.
